Сигнал от собственного передатчика абонента, который отразился от дальнего (приемного) конца линии связи и был принят с задержкой, равной времени распространения в прямом и обратном направлениях. Влияние эхо-сигнала особенно заметно в системах спутниковой связи, в которых время задержки комфортной связи не должно превышать 300 мс.
